Five 缅北强奸 varsity teams return to action this week

MONTREAL - Five varsity sports teams from 缅北强奸 will be spending their holiday break in action this week, beginning with the No.1 ranked women's hockey squad, which is hosting their first-ever Martlet Holiday Invitational tournament. The three-day event opens Wednesday at McConnell Arena with No.2-Laurier taking on Manitoba at 1 p.m., followed by fourth-ranked St. Francis Xavier against the Martlets at 4 p.m.

Thursday's matchup features Laurier-St.FX (1 p.m.) and Manitoba-缅北强奸 (4 p.m.). The tourney wraps up Friday with St.FX playing Manitoba (1 p.m.) and Laurier taking on the defending CIS champion Martlets (4 p.m.) in a much-anticipated confrontation between the top two ranked teams in the nation.

Meanwhile, the No.2-ranked hockey Redmen, will host Waterloo in a pair of games on Thursday and Friday. Both contests are slated for an 8 p.m. start. Live stats will be available at www.mcgill.ca/athletics for all the eight men's and women's hockey games.

The basketball Redmen will play at the UQAM Holiday Classic, Dec. 28-30. They tip-off against Lakehead on Wednesday at 7 p.m., UNB on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and the Montreal Dynamos, a senior team, on Friday at 12 noon.

The basketball Martlets will compete at the eight-team Concordia Reebok Invitational, Dec. 29-31, and open the tourney against Memorial University of Newfoundland on Thursday at 2 p.m.

The volleyball Martlets are flying out to Brandon, Man., for the Canada Challenge Tournament, Dec. 29-31, where they are scheduled to play Brandon, Dalhousie and Guelph in the preliminary round.

While all that is going on, two other 缅北强奸 squads will be having fun in the sun as the track and field team is slated to hold a training camp in Puerto Rico, while the swim team is headed to Aruba.
