Eight Faculty of Law alumni win in their ridings

In an election that captured the country鈥檚 attention, 缅北强奸鈥檚 Faculty of Law made its voice heard.

Over fifteen Law alumni and eight emerged victorious in their ridings last night, including Professor David Lametti, BCL鈥89, LLB鈥89 (LPC; LaSalle鈥撁塵ard鈥揤erdun, QC).

The other elected candidates are Will Amos, BCL/LLB鈥04 (LPC; Pontiac, QC); Anthony Housefather, BCL鈥93, LLB鈥93 (LPC; Mont-Royal, QC); Jo毛l Lightbound, BCL/LLB鈥11 (LPC; Louis-H茅bert, QC); Catherine McKenna, LLB 99 (LPC; Ottawa-Centre, ON); Marc Miller, BCL鈥01, LLB鈥01 (LPC; Ville-Marie鈥揕e Sud-Ouest鈥撁巐e-des-Soeurs, QC); Nick Whalen, LLB鈥01 (LPC; St. John鈥檚 East, NL); and NDP leader Thomas Mulcair, BCL鈥76, LLB鈥77 (NDP; Outremont, QC).
