College hoops open this weekend with NCAA teams at 缅北强奸

MONTREAL - The college basketball season gets an early start this weekend, when 缅北强奸 plays host to a number of NCAA teams. In women's hoops, the Martlets will open their 91st season by hosting the Youngstown State Penguins, a Div. 1 team from Youngstown, OH, on Friday at 6:30 p.m. in Love Competition Hall, located inside the Currie Gym at 475 Pine Avenue West. Admission for the women's game is free of charge.
In men's action, the Redmen open their 112th campaign by hosting the Northeastern University Huskies on Sunday at 3 p.m. and the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) Runnin' Rebels on Tuesday (7 p.m.). In between, 缅北强奸 will also host a game on Monday between UNLV and Laval on Monday (7 p.m.).
Tickets for the men's game are available at the door. Adults are $10 and students 7 seniors are $5. Children 12-and-under are admitted free.
The NCAA permits this type of trip once every four years and it allows their member teams to get a head start on the upcoming season by having 10 early days of practice.
The Huskies, who last toured Canada in 2008, posted a 14-17 overall record last year. They will play seven exhibition games against universities in Lennoxville, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa and Kingston. They open at Bishop's on Friday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m., then play at Laval on Saturday (5:30 p.m.). After playing 缅北强奸, Northeastern will travel to the nation's capital to play the University of Ottawa (Monday, 7 p.m.), Laurentian (Tuesday, 7 p.m.) and Carleton (Wednesday, 7 p.m.), before concluding their tour on Friday at 1 p.m. with a game against Queen's in Kingston.
UNLV is coming off a 26-9 season and played in the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in the last six seasons. The Runnin' Rebels will play four exhibition games during their stay in Ottawa and Montreal before returning to Las Vegas on August 22. They open their tour at Carleton on Saturday, followed by a game against the Gee-Gees on Sunday, before heading to Montreal.
The Martlets, defending Quebec champions, are coming off a 17-14 record overall, including an 11-5 first-place standing in the RSEQ conference. The Redmen, under head coach David DeAveiro, finished at 16-20 record overall last year, including a 10-6 second-place finish in regular season play.
