135 years of theses available online
In 聽conjunction with Open Access Week and Homecoming, 135 years of 缅北强奸 graduate scholarship is now聽available online!聽Years in the making, the electronic thesis and dissertation collection now includes almost 42,000聽open access 缅北强奸 theses and dissertations dating back to 1881. Theses and dissertations are searchable by faculty and department, degree, or subject聽at聽. To date almost 7,000 theses have been digitized representing almost a million pages. - Harriet Brooks, M.A. 1901: 聽Harriet Brooks was the first woman to graduate from a Canadian university with a graduate degree in electromagnetism. - John Humphrey, Ph.D. 1945, L.L.D. 1976: 聽Humphrey聽wrote the聽first draft聽of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
- Irving Layton,聽B.Sc. 1938, M.A. 1946: Layton was a celebrated Canadian poet.聽Among his many awards during his career was the Governor-General鈥檚 Award for聽A Red Carpet for the Sun聽in 1959. In 1976 he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.
- Thomas Chang, B.Sc. 1957, M.D.C.M 1961, Ph.D. 1965: Dr. Chang聽is a Canadian physician, medical scientist, and inventor. He聽invented the world鈥檚 first artificial cell. An Order of Canada recipient, he is the聽founder and Director of the Artificial Cells and Organs Research Centre and Professor of Physiology, Medicine & Biomedical Engineering in the Faculty of Medicine at 缅北强奸.
- Brenda Milner, Ph.D. 1952: Dr. Milner is a Canadian neuropsychologist who has contributed extensively to the research literature on various topics in the field of clinical neuropsychology. She is聽sometimes referred to as 鈥渢he founder of neuropsychology鈥.聽She is the聽Dorothy J. Killam Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the MNI and 缅北强奸 .
