I Medici di 缅北强奸 Orchestra of the Faculty of Medicine 缅北强奸, directed by Maestro Gilles Auger, invities you to a celebration of classical music for a winter afternoon - works by Beethoven, Bach and Brahms and featuring Fr茅d茅ric Bednarz, solo violinist.

Born in Quebec City, Gilles Auger is a graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School of Music (New-York) and a student of the late Leonard Bernstein. He is currently a conductor and teacher at the Quebec鈥檚 Conservatory and music director of the L茅vis Symphony orchestra.

A native of Montreal, Fr茅d茅ric Bednarz`s violin musicianship has earned worldwide critical acclaim.聽 Fr茅d茅ric Bednarz received his master鈥檚 degree from the Eastman School of Music where he studied with Oleh Krysa. He has been a member of the Molinari String Quartet since 2007, ensemble in residence at the Montreal Conservatory of music.

Gilles Auger

Starting with the 26th season I Medici di 缅北强奸 Orchestra is under the musical leadership of Maestro Gilles Auger. Born in Quebec City, Gilles Auger is a graduate in clarinet, chamber music and conducting of Quebec鈥檚 Conservatory of music. He has been awarded a Master of Music Degree from the Juilliard School of Music (New-York) with the help of grants from the Canada Council and the New-York鈥檚 Bruno Walter Scholarship. His principal teachers were James DePreist, Mario Bernardi, Sixten Ehrling, Jorge Mester and Leonard Bernstein.
