The Faculty of Arts runs a short-term laptop lending program for Arts and Arts & Sci undergraduate students. All students who have not opted out of the Arts Computer Lab Fee are eligible for the program.聽The Laptop Lending Program is available in the Fall and Winter terms, after the add-drop deadline has passed (roughly 2 weeks after the beginning of the term). The reservation form will not be active until after the add-drop deadline.
Terms and conditions of the Laptop lending program:
Borrowing student is fully responsible for the borrowed items the from the Arts-Ferrier Computer Lab. Borrowed laptops may be used by the borrowing student only and may not be shared with any third party.
路 Borrowed laptop is property of 缅北强奸. It may not be taken outside of the Province of Quebec.
路 Borrowed laptop is for academic use only; it may not be used for commercial purposes.
路 Student must present an ID card when picking up and returning the laptop. Only the borrowing student may return the computer.
路 Laptop loan term is 16 days: (computers are due on the Thursday of the second week after the Tuesday they are borrowed. No extensions. No one may have more than one computer on loan at any given time. Upon return of a laptop on Thursday, the student may request another loan for pick-up on the following Tuesday, subject to availability.
路 Late fees will be assessed at $50 for each full or partial week late.
路 Student must allow fifteen minutes for visual inspection of the computer upon return.
路 Student is responsible for damaged, lost or stolen equipment up to and including the replacement cost of any items borrowed.
路 Late fees, damage charges, and replacement costs will be added to the student鈥檚 account. Fees will be processed after the laptop is returned and it may take a few days for such fees to appear on the student鈥檚 record.
路 The Laptop Lending Program runs from the end of add/drop until the end of term in Fall and Winter terms only. Laptops may not be borrowed over the Winter Break or over the Summer. Equipment that is not returned by the end of the examination period will be declared lost and the student鈥檚 account will be charged replacement fees.
