The Media@缅北强奸 Delegation attended the World Social Forum () in Tunisia to participate in various initiatives, including the World Forum of Free Media () and a preparatory meeting for an Internet Social Forum (ISF). You are invited to join us for a 4@6 on April 23rd to share food and drinks and hear short presentations on the activities of our delegation in the WSF and WFFM processes. Raphael Canet, professor at University of Ottawa, will be our guest to talk about the work his collective is doing to bring the next World Social Forum coming to Montreal in August 2016 ().

About Media@缅北强奸: Media@缅北强奸 () is a hub of research, scholarship and public outreach on issues and controversies in media, technology and culture. It is based in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at 缅北强奸, but its projects are interdisciplinary in nature and involve scholars from other fields as well as non-academics. Media@缅北强奸 sent three delegates to Tunis to attend the World Social Forum and related activities, such as World Forum on Free Media as well as preparatory meetings for an upcoming Internet Social Forum.

The M@M Delegation to the 2015 World Social Forum in Tunis is being supported by Media@缅北强奸; the Beaverbrook Chair in Ethics, Media and Communications; the Canada Research Chair in Technology and Citizenship at 缅北强奸; and the 缅北强奸 Institute for the Study of International Development (ISID).
