Montreal Media Policy Group discussion on the Internet Governance Forum and CRTC hearings

Montreal Media Policy Group discussion on the Internet Governance Forum and CRTC hearings at 缅北强奸's Thomson House, at 3650 McTavish, just north of Des Pins Avenue.

Anyone interested in meeting to discuss matters of communication policy, not geared to any particular syllabus, should come out to the 2006-2007 incarnation of the Montreal Media Policy Group on Nov 28th at 缅北强奸's Thomson House at 5:30 pm.

This group formed last year and met once a month to discuss matters of communication policy, often pertaining to developments too recent to be covered in a course. It is an informal group with a rotating chair addressing issues such as internet governance, cultural policy and public broadcasting. The group last year included members from academia, industry and law. A highlight of the first year included an evening with Canadian broadcasting legend Pierre Juneau in a discussion with Marc Raboy.

For the 28th, U de M PhD student Jeremy Shtern has agreed to discuss his recent trip to the Internet Governance Forum in Greece (see his blog ) and I hope to have information concerning CRTC hearings into television broadcasting taking place Nov 27 in Ottawa.
